Meghan Murphy received her Master’s degree in Nursing at University of Texas at Austin. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. She worked for several years outside of healthcare before returning to school at U.T. in 2005.

She interned with Austin Heart and discovered her passion for helping patients with arrhythmias. She has worked closely with Dr. David Tschopp, M.D., since her clinical training in Nursing School and has continued to care for his patients after her education.

Meghan is an active member of Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society, and National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists and enjoys cooking and running for her hobbies.
